We are extremely proud of our excellent staff of teachers and directors! The Kids R Kids Management Team is ready and willing to assist you with questions and concerns. We are available by phone and e-mail. We will also be happy to set up a conference if necessary.

Tony VanValkenburg,   Seth Van Eyk - Owners 

Tony and Seth bring over 40 years of business management experience to Kids R Kids.  They acquired the school in mid 2011 from the original owner.  They are excited to continue the strong tradition of providing exemplary child care.  Tony is onsite most days of the week and can be reached at info@krklascolinas.com.

Katrina Ingram - Director - 6:30 am - 3:30 pm

Katrina has worked with children since 1989. Katrina was awarded her Child Development Associate credential in September 2003 and has over 500 hours in Continuing Early Childhood Education. Katrina joined the Kids R Kids team in 1999 as a preschool teacher and was promoted to Director in 2001. She holds the Director`s license for the school. She is continuing classes in hopes of receiving her Bachelor`s Degree in Early Childhood Education and a minor in Business. She is the primary supervisor of the classrooms and teaching staff. Tiffany Buffin - Assistant Director - 8:30 am - 5:30 pm

Tiffany joined the Kids R Kids Team in 2008 and holds a Bachelor`s Degree in Political Science from Baylor University.  She is responsible for all student educational programs. This includes ensuring the school exceedes all standards set-forth by the state of Texas(Texas School Ready!) and Kids R Kids Corporate.  Tiffany`s email address is tiffany@krklascolinas.com

Carrie Halcomb - Customer Service Coordinator -  6:30 am - 4:00 pm

Carrie became part of Kids R Kids in 2000.  With over 12 years of experience, she plays a vital role in the daily operations of our school.  Carrie can be reached at carrie@krklascolinas.com.  

Kristen McGuire - Customer Service Coordinator - 9:30 am - 6:30 pm

Kristen joined our Kids R Kids team in 2011.  She brings a unique creative approach to the school combining her passion for art and child care.  Kristen can be contacted at kristen@krklascolinas.com. 

 

Zelda Newsom-Brown - New Student / Parent Manager

 Miss Zelda has been with Kids R Kids for more than 11 years and is thoroughly committed to providing excellent child care. She works closely with each new family ensuring a smooth transition to the school. Miss Zelda spends her time answering parent questions, working with the child and making sure families are 100% satisfied with KRK. You may contact Zelda at zelda@krklascolinas.com. 

All Kids R Kids faculty and personnel are required to follow state regulations that apply to training. Our staff is trained in First Aid/CPR, Infectious Disease Control, Injury Prevention, and Child Abuse Awareness. Additional training in curriculum, child development, classroom arrangement, classroom management, age-appropriate activities, nutrition, field trip planning, and OSHA regulations provide the staff with the skills needed to create a quality learning environment. The staff is encouraged to further their education through CDA and CCP programs and are given opportunities to attend professional training conferences.
